InvestmeNT Process

Investment Process

We follow a disciplined investment process that carefully balances risk and reward. Our process is well established and has been time tested over 10 years through more than 60 transactions.

All Greenpoint’s investments go through a detailed screening and investment underwriting process.

These go through an initial screening process where suitability of the investment for our funds is assessed according to fund mandates and targets.

The investment will pass into an underwriting / Investment Committee (“IC”) process through two stages:

Preliminary Investment Committee

Post the initial screening success, the investment will pass onto a Preliminary Investment Committee stage. A preliminary IC memorandum is compiled and presented to members of the IC.

At this stage, the IC requires suitable comfort that the investment has suitable downside protection with a firm conviction in the underlying business, key management and the stakeholders involved.

Final Investment Committee

If approved at a preliminary stage, the investment will be process at a final IC meeting. A full IC memorandum will be compiled and presented to the committee.

TBC

Any material deviation from indicative terms during final execution is required to be re-assessed by the IC for approval.
